The Southern Baptist Convention's web site has all kinds of stuff to help you learn about the Southern Baptist Convention. There is also a resource page which gives links to many other SBC web sites including: different Boards and Agencies for the SBC, Seminaries, Colleges, and State Conventions. The official site of the Georgia Baptist Convention. They've done a pretty good job on stocking this site with information. You can find just about anything from WMU to Collegiate Ministries of the GA Baptist Convention. There's a section with clipart logos for promoting GA Baptist programs and a ton of other stuff. Check out this site and see what you might be missing. International Mission Board, SBC Here you can learn about what the International Mission Board (IMB) does. You can look up info on all of the different International Missionaries. Try looking up some of EBC's own missionaries. North American Mission Board, SBC Want to learn about home missions? You get news releases, missionary birthdays, basic NAMB facts, and even check out the new logo at this site. If you're a Baptist web surfer you need to go to this site at least once in your life. Most items have pictures of the cover and real audio clips of each song, making it a good way to check out groups you've never heard before. Have you been looking for a good place to help you do some biblical research? This is one of the biggest and best study tools that we've found on the net so far. You can search in commentaries, dictionaries, sermon helps, concordances, etc... this site has it all. This site isn't actually Christian oriented but it is definitely one of the most detailed movie review sites on the net. Each review is given a plot description and then broken down into 15 content categories such as Alcohol/Drugs, Frightening/Tense Scenes, Profanity, Sex/Nudity, Smoking, Violence, etc. Each content category gives a rating (mild to extreme) and then a list of each and every occurrence. This site is worth more than the electrons that make it up in our opinion. Have you ever wondered why the Bible says God created everything in six days and yet modern science says that everything took billions of years to get the way it is now? Well, this site is dedicated to a more Biblical interpretation of the science. If you want to learn about a theory that fits perfectly with the the Bible and science, go to the Answers in Genesis home page. This site is like a search engine for the Christian Internet. They have links to just about every kind of Christian related site (news, churches, music, computer software, etc.) and a search engine to help you find what your looking for. |

They are also the web space provider for other Christian sites like A Christian Spotlight on the Movies and Paradise Gardens, an online bookstore. They have won several web site awards and as of August 1997 were getting more that 3.1 million hits per month. This is one cool site!
